Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA) has emerged as a critical technology at the intersection of artificial intelligence, cyber security, and digital forensics. With the exponential growth of video data generated by surveillance systems, body-worn cameras, drones, and smart devices, manual analysis has become impractical. IVA leverages machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision techniques to automatically extract meaningful patterns, detect anomalies, and support forensic investigations. This article explores the role of IVA in strengthening cyber security and digital forensics, discusses core techniques and architectures, examines real-world applications, and highlights challenges and future research directions.
